Music at the Market: Max and Otto Allard

June 20, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Enjoy live music from local musicians while you browse the farmers market. The music styles will range from jazz to bluegrass to rock – and everything in between. Interested in performing or know a group we should consider? Email 320events@cbre.com for consideration.

When Max and Otto Allard aren’t bickering like brothers, they make some really amazing music together. They play a mix of original tunes and bluegrass/newgrass, jazz/swing, and video game covers on banjo, mandolin and guitar. Both Max and Otto are currently at Oberlin Conservatory: Max just finished his second year studying composition, and Otto just completed his first year in the jazz performance program. Max and Otto had the thrill of opening for Sam Bush at the Old Town School of Folk Music in February 2020. They have played the Oberlin Folk Festival in Ohio, the White Oak Folk Festival in Wisconsin, the Banjo After Dark series at Borelli’s, Bluegrass Brunch at Hey Nonny, and the Square Roots Festival in Lincoln Square. Other venues include Beat Kitchen, Uncommon Ground, The Grafton, Schubas and Wishbone.
