About the Farmers Market

Now in its fourth season, The Farmer at The Green, is a downtown Chicago farmers market. Shop for fresh, seasonal produce and locally made products from Chicago-based vendors and Midwest farmers. Conveniently located just south of Union Station, The Farmer at The Green is ideal for commuters and West Loop residents alike!

The mission of the market is to facilitate and support the growth of our Chicago’s food system and to foster community engagement in downtown Chicago. The green is focused on building a diverse roster of  local farmers, producers, and processors.

Meet our 2026 weekly vendors!  Grab seasonal produce, baked goods, and fresh florals while enjoying live music at each market. 

  • An Choi: A playful micro-bakery inspired by Vietnamese flavors, serving creative pastries designed to make eating fun through bold taste and presentation.
  • Bens Soft Pretzels: Amish-inspired soft pretzels made fresh with imported German salt, served warm with a wide selection of gourmet dipping sauces.
  • DMApothecary: A plant-based herbal shop specializing in handcrafted and natural-based tea and soap blends..
  • Ekaloka Fermentory: Non-alcoholic fermentory creating innovative, small-batch beverages and foods that blend science, tradition, and bold flavor.
  • Jakes Country Meats:  A sustainable farm offering high-quality pork, beef, chicken, fish, and dairy, all raised with environmentally responsible practices and no antibiotics.
  • Loopie & Nato’s Gelato: A neighborhood gelato shop serving rich, small-batch flavors, including vegan and gluten-free options.
  • Honey Grove: A honey-focused vendor sourcing from hives across Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana, offering a naturally diverse lineup of raw and infused honey varieties.
  • Nissa’s Nana Pudding & More: Freshly made baked goods and desserts, including cakes, cobblers, and signature banana pudding, crafted to order.
  • North Sky Farm: Illinois’ only certified organic creamery producing artisan cheeses from locally raised, pasture-fed animals.
  • Oak & Honey: A Chicago bakery and café crafting high-quality breads and pastries made entirely in-house.

  • Windy City Shaved Ice: Owned and operated by two retired Chicago police officers, Windy City serves up refreshing shaved ice with over 50 flavors.
  • Yer’s Cut Flowers: A family-operated flower farm offering fresh-cut blooms and handcrafted bouquets for any occasion.

Meet our former pop-up vendors! These vendors rotate in and out each week, providing an every-changing array of local farmers and producers.

  • Dar Baklava: A fresh take on a classic dessert—clean, crave-worthy baklava made with premium ingredients you can feel good about enjoying.
  • El Molcajete Sauces: Rooted in Oaxacan tradition, offering rich, seasonal moles and sauces that are 100% natural, gluten free, plant-based, and preservative-free.
  • Katherine Ann Confections: Handcrafted sweets made with seasonal Midwest fruits, fair trade cacao, and Jersey cream. Serving caramels, truffles, marshmallows and more.
  • Lindsey’s Ice Cream: Asian inspired ice cream crafted with care—fun, seasonal flavors like Peachy Lychee Sugar Cookie, Match Strawberry, and Hong Kong Milk Tea.
  • Mickii’s: Homestyle cobblers, cakes, pies, and more—freshly baked, deeply comforting, and made to taste like a memory.
  • Nuts to Go: Freshly roasted nuts made in Chicago, crafted to deliver crunch and flavor with every batch. Serving roasted cashews, almonds, pecans and more in vanilla or bourbon.
  • Rites of Wellness: Small-batch herbal remedies rooted in nature and tradition—offering fresh support for mind, body, and seasonal well-being.
  • Rosie’s Plant Care: Specializing in an organic foliar spray that shines, protects, and nurtures your plants. Houseplants of various sizes also available for purchase.
  • The Stick Up: Locally made popsicles highlighting seasonal produce and farm-fresh ingredients—cool, colorful, and crafted for peak flavor.
  • Tony’s Peanut Butter: Creamy, fresh-ground peanut butter that’s totally no-stir—bringing ease to every spread. Serving cashew, peanut, and almond butter.

Vendors

The 2026 Vendor Application is now live!

To apply, go to managemymarket.com, create a vendor profile, and select The Farmer at The Green from the list of markets. From there you will be prompted to fill out our application. Vendors will be notified of selections by Friday, April 3rd.

Vendor Types:
The Farmer at The Green is primarily a place for local farmers and processors of agricultural products. Priority will be given to farmer/producer vendors. Priority will be given to farmer/producer vendors.

  • Farmer/Producer: Sells raw or minimally processed agricultural products that they farm and/or produce from within 250 miles of The Green at 320
  • Processor: Sells value-added food items that they process/ or bake from raw or minimally processed ingredients. Please note: only coffee roasters roasting within 250 miles of The Green at 320 are eligible for consideration
  • Artisan: Sells handmade items. Items must be made locally and cannot be purchased by an outside party for resale
  • Prepared Food: Sells ready-to-eat prepared,  or packaged “to go” foods

Getting Here

Located just south of Union Station, The Green at 320 sits at the base of the 320 South Canal office tower. The park can be accessed via pedestrian paths off of Van Buren and Clinton streets or through the breezeway adjacent to the building’s lobby on Canal Street. Regardless of your origin, getting to The Green at 320 is easy and convenient.

  • Direct connections to Metra and Amtrak trains at Union Station and CTA Loop Link busses at the Union Station Transit Center
  • Easy access to interstates 90/94 and 290
  • 350-car parking garage at 333 South Clinton Street
  • Two-way bike lane on Clinton Street and several nearby Divvy Stations
  • Pedestrian Pedway to and from Union Station via the underground parking garage. Entrance to the pedway/garage located just north of the staircase at the corner of Clinton & Van Buren.
  • Clinton Blue Line Train Station at Clinton – one block to the south
