Tunes at Noon – Liz Berg – Folk Duo

A native of the Chicago suburbs, Liz Berg started performing professionally while still a teenager in high school. She went on to study both jazz and classical music at Roosevelt University in Chicago and became fluent on bass, drums, and keyboard in addition to guitar. It was her powerful singing voice, however, that started garnering her the most attention in the music world. Berg began to get hired as a studio back-up vocalist, began writing her own songs and frequently became the sole musician at weddings and art exhibitions. Her presence at Chicago’s greatest music venues has allowed her the opportunity to perform for numerous celebrities including Eddie Vedder, Kid Rock and John Cusack. Berg has also performed with members of Cheap Trick, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, The Buckinghams, and the Ides of March.
