Sarah Whalen – Sarah Whalen, a Chicago-born artist and writer, draws inspiration from nature, memory, and the human condition to tell stories through her works. Through soft washes and intentional mark making, she highlights moments of tension within the overall calm and resolve of her compositions. Whalen brings over a decade of writing experience to all she creates, telling stories with shapes, color, as well as words.
